CrossPoint’s Pastor: Scott Holder

Scott is a native of Monroe, LA. He graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in 1980 and from The University of Louisiana at Monroe (formerly NLU) in 1986. He served churches in the Monroe area as a music director, youth director, and pastor until 1990, when he and his wife Dawn, moved to New Orleans to attend the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. While enrolled at NOBTS, Scott continuted to serve churches in the area of music and as pastor. Upon graduating NOBTS in 1993, Scott and Dawn moved to Long Beach, MS, where he served as a pastor for 4 years. While at Long Beach, Scott and Dawn celebrated the birth of their only child, Gillian. From there they returned to the Twin Cities area as pastor of a local church for 7 years. Finally, in the early days of 2005, he and his family answered God's call to form a new church with a bold vision for the future. On March 1, 2005, he became the Pastor of CrossPoint.
